DESCRIPTION:Dance with us on Friday nights! Get ready to groove to the beat and show off your moves. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just love to let loose\, this in-person event is the perfect opportunity to meet new people and have a blast. Grab your friends and come on down to Friday Dance LAB for a night of music\, laughter\, and non-stop dancing.\n\nAgenda: 7:00 – 8:00pm – West Coast Swing Lesson 8:00 – 11:00pm – Social Dance\n\nAdmission at door: $12 – Student/Veteran $15 – Adult *Cash prices listed are available at the door. Online prices reflect included operating fees.\n\nSee below for some more information on our Venue/events and to learn more about West Coast Swing in General.\n \n\n					What is West Coast Swing?\n					West coast is a modern swing dance that derives from Lindy Hop and Hustle. It is commonly danced to Pop\, Rock\, Funk\, Blues\, and Jazz. See the following video a great summary. https://youtu.be/v4fRV0aG3lc\n				\n\n\n					Do you offer beginner lessons?\n					Yes\, beginners are welcome. No experience is required.\n				\n\n\n					Do I need a partner?\n					Excellent Question! But no\, Dance partners are not required for attending our events.\n				\n\n\n					Do I need special shoes?\n					Many dancers wear shoes with velvet or suede bottoms\, but these are not mandatory. We recommend flat shoes such as ballet flats\, loafers\, or sneakers with loose grip bottoms\, closed backs\, and laces. Though\, on rainy or snowy days\, we do ask that you bring a separate\, clean pair of shoes to keep our dance floor dry & salt-free.\n				\n\n\n					Is it family-friendly event?\n					Minors (14+ recommended) must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older and the legal guardian must register on behalf of the minor before participating. We do our best to limit explicit music\, but we cannot guarantee that nothing will slip past. If you are okay with bringing\, and accompanying\, the minor\, we are would love to have you both join us!\n				\n\n\n					Where do I enter?\n					The doors to the building are marked with various numbers. “Door 1” is the proper entrance to enter. Look for an A-frame Sign just outside the door to help find the correct door.\n				\n\n\n					Where do I park?\n					The Center has two dedicated lots accessed from Market street and from the alley\, as well as street parking. All are free of charge to our guests. Note: On First Fridays during the Summer months\, parking can be more difficult do to local events. Additional parking may be available on the street a few blocks away if the mentioned lots are full.\n				\n\n\n					Is it handicap accessible?\n					Yes! Notify us in advance to open a handicap door to the building\, accessed from the alley parking lot and we would be glad to help you!
