Summary of Information

Dance CoLab provides dance classes, socials, workshops, events, registration, ticketing, communications, and related community activities.

By registering for or attending a Dance CoLab event, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate registration and attendee information
  • Complete required waivers and policy acknowledgments
  • Follow Dance CoLab rules, venue rules, and staff instructions
  • Treat other attendees with respect
  • Accept that tickets, schedules, venues, instructors, DJs, and event details may change
  • Follow the Refund & Cancellation Policy
  • Understand that Dance CoLab may deny entry or remove attendees for safety, conduct, payment, waiver, or policy reasons

This summary is provided for convenience. The full Terms & Conditions below control.

1. Registration and Attendee Information

When registering for a Dance CoLab event, you agree to provide accurate and current information.

This may include:

  • Attendee first and last name
  • Attendee email address
  • Phone number
  • Ticket type
  • Event registration information
  • Waiver status
  • Policy acknowledgment status
  • Guardian information for minor participants
  • Other information reasonably needed for registration, check-in, safety, communication, or event administration

Each attendee may be required to provide their own information, even if another person purchases the ticket.

Dance CoLab may use attendee information to manage ticketing, check-in, waiver completion, event communication, safety, attendance history, customer support, and related administrative needs.

2. Accounts and Login Access

Dance CoLab may provide user accounts, member portals, registration pages, dashboards, or other account-based features.

You are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for activity associated with your account.

Dance CoLab may update, modify, suspend, or remove account access if needed for security, technical maintenance, policy enforcement, or administrative reasons.

Having an account does not guarantee access to every event, ticket, class, resource, or member feature.

3. Ticket Purchases and Event Access

A ticket purchase or registration gives the named attendee permission to attend the specific Dance CoLab event, class, workshop, or activity associated with that ticket, subject to these Terms & Conditions and all related policies.

Dance CoLab may require:

  • Completed payment
  • Accurate attendee information
  • A current waiver
  • Acceptance of current policies
  • Valid QR code or check-in confirmation
  • Compliance with the Code of Conduct
  • Compliance with venue rules

Dance CoLab may deny entry if registration is incomplete, payment is not complete, attendee information is missing, a waiver is not current, a QR code is invalid, or the attendee violates Dance CoLab policies.

4. Waiver Requirement and QR Code Release

Dance CoLab may require each attendee to complete a current Waiver & Release of Liability before attending, participating, or receiving access to a QR check-in ticket.

A ticket purchase alone does not guarantee event access if required waiver or policy steps are incomplete.

Dance CoLab may delay, withhold, disable, or deny QR check-in access until the attendee’s waiver and required policy acknowledgments are complete and current.

If a waiver is expired, incomplete, missing, mismatched, or associated with the wrong attendee, Dance CoLab may require the attendee to complete or update the waiver before check-in.

5. Payment

Ticket prices, event prices, discounts, fees, and availability may vary by event.

Payment must be completed through an approved Dance CoLab payment method unless Dance CoLab specifically approves another arrangement.

Dance CoLab may use third-party payment processors, ticketing tools, website plugins, email systems, or registration platforms to process purchases and registrations.

Dance CoLab is not responsible for delays, errors, outages, or issues caused by third-party platforms, banks, card providers, payment processors, or external services, except as required by law.

6. Refunds, Transfers, and Cancellations

Refunds, credits, transfers, cancellations, no-shows, and event changes are governed by the Dance CoLab Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Unless otherwise stated for a specific event, all refund and cancellation questions should be handled according to that policy.

Dance CoLab may choose to offer credits, transfers, or exceptions at its discretion, but doing so once does not require Dance CoLab to do so again in the future.

7. Event Changes

Dance CoLab may modify event details when needed.

Changes may include:

  • Date
  • Time
  • Venue
  • Room
  • Instructor
  • DJ
  • Staff
  • Format
  • Schedule
  • Class topic
  • Capacity
  • Ticket availability
  • Health, safety, or check-in procedures

Dance CoLab will make reasonable efforts to communicate major changes, but attendees are responsible for checking event details before attending.

8. Check-In and Attendance

Attendees may be required to check in before participating.

Check-in may require:

  • Name
  • Email
  • QR code
  • Ticket confirmation
  • Account lookup
  • Waiver confirmation
  • Guardian confirmation for minors
  • Staff approval

Dance CoLab may deny check-in if the attendee cannot be verified, has not completed required forms, violates policy, appears unsafe to participate, or presents a safety or conduct concern.

9. Code of Conduct

All attendees must follow the Dance CoLab Code of Conduct.

Dance CoLab expects attendees to respect consent, boundaries, personal space, safety, hygiene, and the comfort of other participants.

Dance CoLab may remove, suspend, or ban a participant for behavior that violates the Code of Conduct, venue rules, safety expectations, or staff instructions.

Refunds are not guaranteed when removal or denial of entry is due to conduct, safety, or policy violations.

10. Right to Refuse Service or Remove Attendees

Dance CoLab may refuse service, deny entry, remove an attendee, suspend access, cancel a ticket, or restrict future participation when Dance CoLab believes it is reasonably necessary.

Reasons may include:

  • Unsafe behavior
  • Harassment
  • Boundary violations
  • Disruptive conduct
  • Policy violations
  • Incomplete waiver
  • Invalid ticket
  • Payment issue
  • Fraud or suspected fraud
  • Misuse of website, account, QR code, or registration tools
  • Venue rule violation
  • Staff safety concern
  • Repeated no-shows or misuse of registration systems

Dance CoLab may make these decisions at its discretion to protect the safety, comfort, and integrity of the community.

11. Minors

Participants under 18 may be required to have a parent or legal guardian complete registration, waiver, and policy forms.

Dance CoLab may require guardian contact information and may limit or condition minor participation depending on the event, venue, supervision needs, or activity type.

A parent or legal guardian is responsible for determining whether the event is appropriate for the minor participant.

12. Photos, Video, and Media

Dance CoLab events may include photography or video recording for promotional, educational, archival, website, social media, or community purposes.

By attending, you understand that you may appear in event media.

If you have a privacy or safety concern about being photographed or recorded, contact Dance CoLab before or during the event so reasonable accommodations can be discussed.

Dance CoLab may not be able to guarantee removal from all crowd shots, background footage, livestreams, reposts, or third-party media.

13. Communications

You agree not to:

  • Submit false information

Dance CoLab may restrict website or account access if misuse is suspected.

Dance CoLab website content, branding, logos, images, graphics, text, page layouts, event materials, class materials, and related content belong to Dance CoLab or its licensors unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, or use Dance CoLab materials for commercial purposes without written permission.

16. Third-Party Services

Dance CoLab may use third-party services for ticketing, checkout, email, forms, payments, analytics, calendars, maps, social media, or other website and event functions.

These third-party services may have their own terms, privacy practices, fees, limitations, and technical requirements.

Dance CoLab is not responsible for every action, delay, outage, error, or policy of third-party providers.

17. No Guarantee of Availability

Dance CoLab does not guarantee that every event, website feature, ticket, class, instructor, venue, portal feature, or communication system will always be available or error-free.

Dance CoLab may update, pause, replace, remove, or modify website features, registration processes, account features, automations, or event procedures as needed.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Dance CoLab is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from website use, registration, ticketing, event participation, third-party services, account access, event changes, or inability to attend.
